TAYCAN MOBIL LISTRIK yang dibuat oleh Porsche sekitar 1 tahun lalu sewaktu Porsche berulang tahun 70 tahun.
Mobil ini dibuat Porsche sebagai mobil monumental untuk lambang bahwa mobil berotot Porsche juga setuju mulai masuk ke industri mobil listrik. Nama awalnya adalah Porsche Mission E.

Porsche Mission E ini kemudian diubah menjadi Taycan yang merupakan suatu kata yang berasal dari Bahasa Turki yang bermakna Kuda Muda Bersemangat. Mobil yang bisa melonjak gembira dan penuh tenaga kapan saja.
Mobil ini dicoba dalam Goodwood Festival dan menarik banyak peminta karena selain nama besar Porsche yang sangat handal untuk mobil lincah berotot (dapat dibaca dalam posting ini - Kenapa Porsche 911 sangat lincah) juga membawa teknologi penggerak listrik yang sangat unik.
Porsche tentu akan memicu persaingan lain dengan mobil bermesin besar lainnya untuk berlomba dalam perebutan kue mobil listrik di masa depan.
